Actress and model Molly Sims, 53, recently documented a delightful "perfect beach day" with her children on social media. She shared various moments from the family outing, including a striking image of herself in a two-piece swimsuit.
Among the series of photos posted to her Instagram stories, which featured her children enjoying ocean swims and building sandcastles, Sims included a picture of herself. In this image, she showcased her sculpted midsection in a mismatched bikini, pairing a black top with contrasting blue bottoms. Her beach ensemble was accessorized with a substantial chain necklace featuring a heart charm engraved with the letter "M," alongside black sunglasses and a black hat. She playfully captioned the photo, "Oh hey."
Following their time by the sea, Sims also shared a photograph of herself dressed for an evening out. She wore a white dress adorned with black polka dots, complemented by the same gold chain necklace, gold hoop earrings, and understated makeup. Reflecting on the transition from day to evening, she wrote, "Nothing like getting ready for dinner after a day in the sun," accompanied by a sun emoji.
Return to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
Sims generated considerable buzz recently with her appearance in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, where she modeled several different bikini styles. On her Instagram, she posted some of these professional shots, including an orange string bikini worn while posing on a cliff overlooking the ocean, a pink two-piece paired with suspenders, and a red swimsuit embellished with silver shell details.
If only I could tell the 20-something version of me shooting her first @si_swimsuit issue that she’d still be here at 52… feeling more beautiful and confident in her skin than ever before.
Reflecting on this significant career moment, Sims shared a personal message about her journey. Her history with the publication dates back to 2000, and she has graced the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue a total of eight times.
Maintaining a "Bikini Ready" Lifestyle
Sims has consistently shared swimsuit photos on her social media platforms over the years, frequently posting images from various getaways, whether enjoying the warm climate of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, or a snowy mountain retreat.
In February 2023, Sims revealed one of her personal health strategies for staying "bikini ready" through her Instagram stories. She highlighted bone broth as a key element, sharing an image of a mug filled with the liquid. She enumerated its purported advantages, stating: "Anti-ageing [sic], good for digestion and gut, helps my joints after workouts, better sleep... this has been game changing for me."
